Scrid were formed in October of 1993 in Fort Madison, Iowa. They quickly moved to Iowa City the following Spring, where they currently reside. They hammer out abnormal hybrids of raging drums, barbaric bass and cartoonish guitars. Add to this scorching rants of porn star prowess, drug-induced deliriums and freak-infested fantasies. Live, Scrid detonates a spinning web of tongue-in-cheek mayhem, leaving audiences consumed by a grinding state of trepidation and absurdity.
